This is a Simpson Strong-Tie IUS2.56/11.88 2-1/2 x 11-7/8 Face Mount I-Joist Hanger. The IUS is fully compatible with shallow flange I-joists. some IUS models have triangle holes in header flanges for Min/Max nailing The IUS is a hybrid hanger that incorporates the advantages of the face mount and top mount hanger.
