- Etches and fills directly to bare metal, sandblasted metal, sanded metal, or right over an existing finish. This primer eliminates the need for 2 different products saving you money.
- For high-build applications, simply use a 4:1 mix ratio (4 parts primer to 1 part required TP Tools urethane primer catalyst #TP-1101 - sold separately). For a low build or self-etch application, use a 4:1 mix ratio and reduce with 1 part urethane reducer.
- Primer provides an excellent base for topcoats. Can be top coated with enamels, urethanes, water based basecoat/clearcoat systems, or lacquers. Primer is 50% darker gray for extra hiding characteristics and better coverage. Sands easy with no shrinking. 50-state compliant.
